This is an old colorful Persian miniature painting on panel featuring a Polo game, an ancient sport in Persia well enjoyed by Royalty or aristocratic class. The men on the horseback are in colorful dress and the whole scenery is lively and vibrant. The panel measures 9.5" x 3.5" housed in a frame which itself is made of small fragments of bone with measurements of 11-1/4" x 5-3/8". This item is in good condition with some loses to the edge of the lower section of frame, from mid 20th century.
