The painting is signed by the artist and his close attention to facial expression and detail is amazing and he has rendered Louis XV style perfectly .Size: The portrait is 2" in height and 1 1/2" wide, in very good condition and surrounded by machine turned oval frame set in a fancy rectangular 5 1/8"H X 3 1/2"W gilt frame with open work top and easel-back. Late 19th century era.
